GUIDELINES

A: ANY QUESTIONS ON PROCEDURE SHOULD BE REFERRED TO THE Secretary or COMMISSIONER. ( THE COMMISSIONER'S DECISION WILL BE FINAL)

B: ROSTER CAN CONTAIN 12 GOLFERS. ONCE ROSTER IS FULL,YOU CAN ONLY CHANGE A PLAYER ON THE ROSTER DURING THE YEAR IF ONE OF YOUR PLAYERS HAS LEFT TOWN,INJURED OR SOME OTHER GOOD REASON,

C: ENTRY FEE - $150 PER TEAM

The ball shall be played down ( do not bump the ball) infraction one stroke

Matches will be played from the Blue Tees

HANDICAP WILL BE ESTABLISHED BY USING ALL SCORES DURING THE SEASON

TO ESTABLISH A FULL HANDICAP WE WILL PROCEED AS FOLLOWS

1st ROUND USE FIRST NIGHTS ROUND MINUS 1STROKES

SUBSEQUENTLY AFTER THAT ALL SCORES WILL BE USED

(HANDICAPS WILL BE ROUNDED UP AND DOWN ACCORDINGLY .4 AND LOWER GOES DOWN .5 AND UP GOES UP)

All Score Cards will be corrected to reflect no more than a Double Bogey on any Hole

Any player starting his round late will receive a par score for the holes he missed.

(PLAYER WHO WERE MEMBERS OF THE LEAGUE BUT DID NOT PLAY AT ALL THE PREVIOUS YEAR WILL BE CONSIDERED "NEW PLAYERS" FOR HANDICAP PURPOSES.)

POINTS SYSTEM ...... 2 POINTS PER INDIVIDUAL MATCH AND 4 POINTS FOR MOST HOLES WON BY THE TEAM A POSSIBILITY 12 POINTS TOTAL .

When a player is Late he may Join the group late and play the remainder of the holes the holes missed teeing off with the group will go down as Losses.

IF A PLAYERS OPPONENTS DOES NOT SHOW UP FOR HIS TEE TIME THE UNOPPOSED PLAYER MUST GO AHEAD AND TEE OFF WITH HIS GROUP ALL HOLES THAT THE OPPONENT DOES NO SHOW BY THE TIME THE GROUP HAS LEFT THE TEEING GROUND ARE CONSIDERED HOLES WON, THE PLAYER IS NOT OBLIGED TO FINISH THE HOLE BUT IF THE PLAYER IS IN THE SKINS HE MUST HOLE OUT TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR SKINS.(by this I mean the group are approaching their second shots not just getting into the golf Cart)

(Please indicate too the player whom is late that you are claiming the holes they have forfeited due to their lateness as soon as he joins you)

LOW HANDICAPPER PLAYS LOW HANDICAPPER. IF ONLY 3 GOLFERS, in case of a "no show" the Team with both players present decide who plays the player present from the other team and this pairing stands no matter if the other player shows up late.

TEAM LEADING STANDINGS TEE'S OFF FIRST, IN CASE OF A TIE TOSS A COIN.

ONCE MATCH PAIRINGS ARE DECIDED ON FIRST TEE , THAT PAIRING WILL STAND. (IT IS PLAYERS RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK THE HANDICAP OF THE OPPONENT NO PROTEST WILL BE ALLOWED ) IF A PLAYER OR AN OPPONENT FEELS THERE IS AN ERROR IN THEIR OR THEIR OPPONENTS HANDICAP PLEASE ANNOUNCE THIS AT THE FIRST TEE PLAY THE MATCH WITH THE POSTED HANDICAP AND THEN APPROACH AN OFFICER AND IF THERE IS AN ERROR IT WILL BE CORRECTED AND THE MATCH AND TEAM SCORES WILL BE ADJUSTED.

USGA RULES OF MATCHPLAY APPLY, BALL MUST BE PLAYED "DOWN" UNLESS OTHERWISE INDICATED ON THE NIGHT.

( once you have won the hole please tell your opponent to pickup and not to continue putting )

PLEASE NOTE THE MAIN RULE OF MATCHPLAY IS "THE PERSON FURTHEST AWAY FROM THE PIN HAS CONTROL YOU MAY NOT PLAY "READY GOLF" UNLESS YOU GET THE "OK" FROM YOUR OPPONENT TO DO SO AND YOU MAY NOT "PUTT OUT" IF YOUR OPPONENT DOES NOT GIVE THE PUTT (this is not loss of hole you may ask your opponent to replace his ball).

The penalty for an infraction of the rules of Golf is Loss of Hole (not 2 strokes) things like hitting the Wrong ball, hitting from the incorrect spot when taking a drop from a hazard and a par is marked on the score card as the score for that hole regardless of the number of shots taken at that point.
